Palliative & Supportive Care

Symptom-focused supportive care coordinated alongside oncology treatment, with referral to hospice and palliative care services in the region.

Overview

Palliative care is specialised care for people living with serious illness, focused on quality of life for the patient and the family. North Coast Oncology does not offer palliative care as a standalone specialty discipline; our team provides supportive symptom management alongside oncology treatment and refers patients to accredited hospice and palliative care providers where dedicated palliative input is needed.
